“I would like to encourage every one of you to take this opportunity to enthrone the Sacred Heart of Jesus in your home. My parents enthroned the Sacred Heart of Jesus in our home almost 60 years ago and this image of the Sacred Heart has held pride of place on the wall of our living room ever since. Every year our family would place the palms we received on Palm Sunday behind that picture of Jesus and these palms would stay there until they were replaced the following Palm Sunday. This enthroned image of the Sacred Heart of Jesus was a constant reminder that Jesus is the true head of our family. Jesus helped our family keep our priorities straight, including through some trying times, and his image served as a visible reminder of his constant love and protection of our large family—and all 7 of us siblings raised in that home continue to be active, practicing Catholics to this day! I am convinced that the enthronement of the Sacred Heart of Jesus will bring many blessings to your family as well.
